We bulk bill the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) through Medicare. Eligible children aged 2–17 receive up to $1,095 in dental benefits over two calendar years with no out-of-pocket cost.
Covered services include: check-ups, cleans, x-rays, fillings, fissure sealants, extractions, and root canals.
Eligibility: Children 2–17 years old whose family receives certain government payments (Family Tax Benefit Part A, etc). You can check your child's eligibility through your Medicare online account or by calling Medicare on 132 011. Just bring your Medicare card to the appointment.
